About Geuljasu Text Tools
Geuljasu Text Tools is a small collection of free tools for counting words, cleaning up pasted text and running quick random draws. There is no sign-up and nothing to install — it works in any modern browser on desktop or mobile. "Geuljasu" (글자수) means "character count" in Korean, and the site is also available in Korean.

Your text stays on your device
- Every tool runs in your browser. Text, lists and documents you paste are never sent to a server or stored.
- That means results are instant even on a slow connection, and your text disappears when you close the tab — keep your own copy.
- Random draws and the ladder game use your browser's cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues).
How we count
Characters are counted as you see them, so an emoji or an accented letter is one character, and a line break counts as one character in the total. Each tool page explains its rules. Platforms count slightly differently, so always check the final number where you submit.
